The full surf experience

Best for: if you want everything handled so you can just surf, eat well, and settle into the rhythm here.

Regular Season Nov 15 – May 1 Solo: $395/day Double occupancy: $350/person/day
Green Season May 1 – Aug 31 Solo: $335/day Double occupancy: $295/person/day

Double occupancy pricing is per person, based on a couple or friends sharing a room. Two of our rooms can be configured with a two-bed setup (one queen + one single) — please use the Special Requests option if two beds are needed.

FAQ

Quick answers to a few common questions.

Do I need surf experience?

No. Shaka welcomes a range of levels, and the surf experience can be adapted depending on where you're at.

What is the minimum age?

Guests must be at least 15 years old. There's no maximum age — everyone's welcome.

Is Shaka ever closed?

Yes. Shaka closes each year from September 1 through November 14. We reopen for Regular Season on November 15.

Is there a returning guest discount?

Yes, during the Regular Season, returning guests receive 10% off with proof of a prior stay.

Where do I book add-ons?

Add-ons are handled on-site through our concierge — no need to arrange them in advance. Once you're here, they'll get you sorted.

Can I add on to Ultimate Surf?

Yes. Even if you're on Ultimate Surf, you can still book add-ons like the breath holding experience during your stay. Just speak to our on-site concierge when you arrive.

When should I use the Special Requests form?

Use Special Requests if you're booking for a large group, need two beds in one room, have mixed arrival dates when sharing, or if your dates aren't showing as available in the standard booking flow. We'll handle it from there.

What is the cancellation policy?

We offer a full 100% refund if you cancel more than 1 month before arrival, 75% if more than 1 week out, and 50% if less than 1 week out. You can also change your reservation at any time, pending availability, with no fees or loss of money.
