Life in Costa Rica

Posted by Jul15, 2008 Comments (0)

It’s sometimes hard to remember what our old life was like back in the U.S. When we decided to make the move, we actually just did it without too much fuss over researching and analyzing the place. I know it would have driven me crazy trying to wade through all of the info on the internet. All we knew was that we loved this little beach town, and would take each day as it came.

Hello World!

Posted by Jul13, 2008 Comments (1)
Throwing some breaks onWell we finally finished construction on our surf camp here in Costa Rica. It was a long process of headaches, surprises, red tape, and as expected in construction, way over budget. I just put up our Shaka surf camp website a few days ago and decided to add a blog to journal our experiences and adventures of living, starting and running a business in a third world country.I hope whatever is written in future blogs will be entertaining, informative, motivationg and most importantly inspiring. It has been an awesome journey moving from the US and making our way here. It took 5 years just to take the leap and now 3 years later, we are rooted and In my opinion ready to tackle an even bigger adventure. And so the blog begins…
Pura Vida,
M-Shaka
